Pinoli 18 are a pasta shape by Alberto Poiatti, with a curious name that recalls the pine nut. It is a simple, genuine pasta to always keep in the cupboard.

There are just two ingredients, durum WHEAT semolina and water, nothing else: that is why the pasta is also suitable for a vegan diet. A simple recipe that leaves all the room to the sauce and lends itself to many different dishes, from the simplest to the most elaborate.

They come in a 1 kg pack, convenient for the family or if you cook often. Boil them in plenty of salted water and taste them so you can drain them al dente, following the cooking time on the pack. You can dress them simply, with extra virgin olive oil and Parmesan, with a fresh tomato sauce or with seasonal vegetables. Store them in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat.
