Alberto Poiatti's Rigatoni Integrali 54 are the wholemeal version of a great short pasta classic. They have the shape everyone knows, a large ridged tube, with the darker colour typical of wholemeal pasta.

The ingredients are wholemeal durum WHEAT semolina and water, and the pasta is suitable for a vegan diet. The ridges and the wide central hole collect the sauce inside and out, while the wholemeal semolina gives the pasta a more rustic taste that goes well with bold flavours.

500 g pack. For cooking, follow the time on the pack and taste them before draining, so you can serve them al dente. Try them with seasonal vegetables and pulses, with a tomato and olive sauce or with a ragù, or baked with vegetables and a sprinkling of cheese. Store them in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat.
