Confettura extra di gelso | Sicilì

Extra mulberry jam is one of Sicilì's specialities. The mulberry is a tree with small, delicate fruits, similar to blackberries, which are rarely found fresh because they keep for a very short time: as jam, you can enjoy them whenever you like, all year round.

By law, the word ‘extra’ indicates a jam made with more fruit than classic jam. The fruit is therefore the undisputed star, with an intense, fragrant taste that is instantly recognisable, at breakfast and at the end of a meal alike.

230 g size. Spread it on toast or rusks, use it to fill tarts, cakes and biscuits, or pour it over yoghurt, custard ice cream or panna cotta. It also goes well with cheeses, both fresh and mature. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat.
