Ingredients

Aubergines (50 %), tomato sauce (16 %) (tomato (95 %), extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, basil), onion (11 %), celery (7 %), extra virgin olive oil (5 %), white wine vinegar, brown sugar, green olives, capers, sea salt, basil, black pepper, hot pepper.

Our organic Sicilian Caponata is a rich and aromatic condiment that captures the essence of traditional Sicilian cuisine. Here are some creative ways to enjoy and use this Mediterranean delicacy:

As an Antipasto: Serve the caponata cold or at room temperature on crostini or toasted bread for a flavour-packed appetiser. It is ideal to open a dinner with friends or for a festive buffet.

Accompaniment for Fish and Meat Dishes: Caponata makes a perfect side dish for grilled or roasted fish dishes, as well as white meats such as chicken and turkey. Its rich and complex flavour beautifully complements the delicate flavours of proteins.

Pasta seasoning: Mix caponata with fresh pasta cooked al dente for a quick and incredibly tasty dish. Add a sprinkle of pecorino or parmesan cheese for a rich finishing touch.
