The Maxi shells are the most generous size of Dolce Vita cannoli: 14 cm long, 3 cm in diameter and weighing 28 g each. They are the ready-to-use ‘bucce’ for making Sicilian cannoli at home, following an ancient, traditional recipe.

The dough is made with soft WHEAT flour, wine, sugar, lard, EGGS and unsweetened cocoa powder. The shells are crumbly and crisp, yet melt in the mouth at the first taste. To keep this crispness, fill them only shortly before serving: that way the cannolo stays crunchy.

You will find them in packs of 8 or 55 pieces, the latter handy for parties, events and catering. Fill them with sweetened sheep's ricotta, dust them with icing sugar and decorate the ends with chopped pistachios: in our shop you will also find ricotta and chopped pistachios. Store in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat.
