Penne integrali Timilia

Penne integrali are a classic of Italian tradition, which Minardo makes with the ancient WHEAT varieties of Sicily. They are produced using artisan methods, in Sicily, with top-quality raw materials: an organic, entirely Sicilian pasta that you recognise immediately by its cylindrical shape and the characteristic diagonal cut at the ends.

They are made solely from organic wholemeal durum WHEAT semolina of the Timilia variety, an ancient Sicilian WHEAT, and mineral water, and are suitable for a vegan diet. Bronze-drawn and slowly dried at low temperatures, they have a rough surface that holds the sauce well, a substantial texture and the authentic taste of wholemeal WHEAT.

500 g pack, with a cooking time of 8 minutes. They suit every recipe, from classic pasta with sauce to more gourmet dishes. Try them with basil pesto, rocket and almond pesto or Sicilian pesto; cold or lukewarm in a salad, with seasonal vegetables, pulses, olives, cherry tomatoes and fresh cheeses, for a summer lunch or a picnic; or with tuna, shrimps or smoked salmon, oil and lemon. For a vegetarian dish, choose grilled vegetables, porcini mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes. Store them in a dry place, away from sources of heat.
