Our salted anchovies from Sicily are an excellent ingredient to enhance many dishes with their intense and authentic flavour. Here are some tips for incorporating these salted delights into your recipes:

Flavour Pasta Seasoning: Melt some salted anchovies in a frying pan with olive oil and chopped garlic until they disintegrate, creating a tasty base for seasoning pasta. Add chopped parsley and chilli pepper for a richly flavoured dish.

Caesar salad with a twist: Use chopped salted anchovies to enrich the dressing of the classic Caesar salad. Their salty taste pairs perfectly with grated Parmesan cheese and crispy croutons.

Pizza and Focaccia Topping: Add salted anchovies to pizza or focaccia before baking for a touch of Mediterranean flavour that contrasts nicely with the sweetness of the tomatoes and richness of the cheese.
