Minardo's Calamarata Bio is a full-bodied ring of pasta, perfect for those who wish to enhance the authentic flavours of Italian cuisine. Thanks to its ring shape reminiscent of squid, it is ideal for seasoning with thick sauces and is particularly suitable for fish-based first courses. Cooking time: 12 minutes.
It is 100% Sicilian, 100% organic.
Pasta Minardo is made with 100% organic whole durum wheat semolina from Grani Antichi Siciliani. Handmade in Sicily, with raw materials of the highest quality, to guarantee a tasty, healthy and environmentally friendly product. We only use wholemeal semolina of Timilia wheat, characterised by an easily digestible gluten. Pasta drawn through bronze and dried slowly, at low temperatures, to preserve all the nutritional characteristics.

With Fish Sauces: Calamarata's unique shape allows it to capture sauces evenly. Try it with fresh seafood sauces, such as squid, prawns and mussels, to enhance each bite with an explosion of marine flavour. A classic is seafood calamarata, celebrating the Mediterranean culinary tradition.
Swordfish and aubergine dishes: combine calamarata with a swordfish and aubergine sauce. The pasta holds the tomato and fish sauces well, bringing out the richness of Sicilian flavours and offering an authentic culinary experience.
