Citrus Fruit and Sicilian Saffron Panettone | Dolce&Gabbana

The Panettone agli Agrumi e Zafferano di Sicilia is born from the meeting between the Fiasconaro pastry shop and Dolce&Gabbana: the Milanese recipe reimagined with the scents of the island.

The naturally leavened dough, prepared with BUTTER, fresh EGGS from barn-raised hens and honey from Sicily, is rich in candied peel of Sicilian citrus fruit, lemon and orange (25%), and in Sicilian mandarin paste. Sicilian saffron gives it a golden colour and an intense, unmistakable aroma that you can smell as soon as you open the tin.

The panettone comes in a brightly coloured cylindrical tin by Dolce&Gabbana, to keep even after the festive season, together with a handy carrier bag. You will find it in 500 g and 1 kg sizes; there is also a 100 g mignon version. An elegant gift, to serve at breakfast or at the end of a meal with a glass of Sicilian dessert wine.
